金櫻子(學名 Rosa laevigata Michx.)為薔薇科金櫻子屬植物的成熟果實。別稱金罌子、山石榴、木罌子、刺梨果。常見種類包括華南金櫻子、雲貴金櫻子與野生金櫻子,以果實橢圓、皮厚、色金黃橙亮、刺細者為佳。果實外皮金黃色或橙黃色,內含多籽,味澀。

性味歸經:性平,味酸、澀,入腎、膀胱、脾經。

功效與應用:金櫻子具有固精縮尿、澀腸止瀉、益腎補虛之功。主治遺精、滑精、遺尿、尿頻、白濁、久瀉久痢及脾虛不固。常用於補腎固精方,如配芡實、蓮子;治遺尿白濁可與益智仁、桑螵蛸同用;治脾虛久瀉可與山藥、烏梅合用。金櫻子多入丸散、煎劑,亦可製成金櫻子膏或與肉類同煮作藥膳,用於補虛固攝與改善體力。
