龍眼肉(學名 Dimocarpus longan Lour.)為無患子科龍眼屬植物成熟果肉乾製品。別稱桂圓肉、益智、龍眼乾。常見種類包括福建桂圓、廣東龍眼及泰國龍眼,以肉厚、色琥珀紅亮、甜潤者為佳。果肉呈半透明黃褐或琥珀色,質柔韌,味甘。

五行顏色主要對照:黃褐色,應土。

性味歸經:性溫,味甘,入心、脾經。

功效與應用:龍眼肉具有補益心脾、養血安神、益氣生津之功。主治心脾兩虛、失眠健忘、心悸怔忡、面色萎黃及體虛乏力。常用於補心脾方,如配人參、黃耆以補益氣血;治失眠健忘可與酸棗仁、遠志同用;治脾虛不振可配白朮、茯苓;婦女氣血兩虛、產後體弱常以龍眼肉煎湯補養。亦可入膳食,如桂圓紅棗茶、桂圓粥,適合日常養心安神、補血益氣。
