🠴 菱角 🠶

菱角(學名 Trapa natans L.),別稱菱、菱實、水栗、水菱角,為菱科(Trapaceae)一年生水生植物。原產亞洲溫帶與熱帶地區,廣泛分布於臺灣、中國南方及東南亞各地。依外形可分為雙角菱、四角菱、紅菱與黑菱等品種,果實外殼堅硬具角,果肉潔白細膩。

性味歸經:性平,味甘、澀,入脾、胃經。

功效方面,菱角具有健脾益氣、止瀉固精、解毒消暑之效。《本草綱目》載其「益氣健力、祛濕止瀉、解酒毒」,常用於調理脾胃虛弱、泄瀉久不止及暑熱口渴等症。其澀性可收斂止帶,亦有輔助清熱利尿之用。菱殼與葉亦可入藥,有消腫解毒、抗菌止癢功效。

應用上,菱角為常見水生食材,可煮食、蒸食或烤食,味甘似栗,老熟後可曬乾磨粉製菱粉。嫩菱角可鮮食或入甜湯,熟菱角常與紅棗、蓮子同煮為養生甜品。在民間亦用作中秋佳節時令食品,象徵吉祥與圓滿。
