🠴 Blue Mussel 🠶

藍貽貝(學名 Mytilus edulis)屬貽貝科,是廣泛分布於寒溫帶海域的食用雙殼貝類。中文又稱藍青口、青口貽貝、紫殼菜蛤、紫蛤、紫海瓜子。其殼體呈長楔形,外殼深藍至紫黑,具平滑光澤,殼內具藍白色珠母層;貽貝肉呈橙黃色或淡黃色,具有鮮香濃郁的海味。藍貽貝以足絲固著於岩石與潮下帶環境,為世界重要的養殖貝類之一。

藍貽貝的深藍與黑紫色依五行屬水,對應腎氣之象。味鹹性溫,常被視為入腎、肝經的食材,鹹入腎而具有軟堅散結、溫補腎陽之性。由於富含蛋白質、EPA、DHA、維生素 B12 與鐵,常被認為能補益精血、改善疲勞、強健筋骨,亦因含 Omega-3 脂肪酸而有助心血管健康。

藍貽貝的應用以食療為主,其海味濃而不腥,質地緊實而細滑,適合清蒸、白酒煮、奶油焗烤、加入海鮮湯或義大利料理等;烹調時僅需加熱至殼體自然張開便可保持最佳風味與嫩度。藍貽貝在各國料理中皆被視為高營養、易料理且用途多元的海產食材。
