學名:Girella punctata 別稱:黑毛魚、黑毛鯛、黑格、青毛、黑鱗仔,屬於鱸形目(Perciformes)鱸亞目(Percoidei)斑鯛科(Kyphosidae)斑鯛屬(Girella)。主要分布於日本、韓國、台灣、琉球群島及中國沿海,在台灣多見於東北角、澎湖及綠島礁岩海域。魚體橢圓側扁,體色多為深灰至墨黑色,鱗細而緊密,為典型的礁區魚類,常棲息於潮間帶至水深20公尺的岩礁環境,以藻類為主食。

常見種類:主要有黑毛魚(Girella punctata)與外觀近似的青毛魚(Girella leonina),後者體色較淺,尾鰭略帶藍綠色。

性味歸經:性平,味甘鹹,歸脾、腎經。

功效:具補氣血、健脾胃、益腎強身之效,民間認為黑毛魚能補虛養體、助氣力恢復,對勞倦乏力與體質虛寒者尤佳。

應用:肉質緊實細膩,味道鮮甜,常以清蒸、鹽烤、煮湯、味噌燒或刺身方式食用,是台灣與日本常見的礁區高級食用魚,亦為磯釣熱門目標魚種。
