🠴 紅薏仁 🠶

紅薏仁,學名 Coix lacryma-jobi var. ma-yuen (Roman.) Stapf.,又稱紅苡仁、紫薏仁、糙薏仁,為禾本科薏苡的去殼穀粒,與一般白薏仁不同,保留外層紅褐色麩皮,因此營養成分更為豐富。常見種類有紅糙薏仁、紫薏仁、台南紅薏仁等,廣泛栽培於台灣與東南亞地區。

紅薏仁性微寒,味甘、淡,歸脾、胃、肺經。具健脾滲濕、利水消腫、清熱排膿、潤膚美顏之功效。中醫常以其治水腫、風濕痹痛、脾虛泄瀉等症,並有養顏祛斑、改善皮膚粗糙的作用。與白薏仁相比,紅薏仁性質較溫和,適合長期食用以調理體質。

應用方面,紅薏仁可煮粥、煮飯、入湯或磨粉沖泡,常見於薏仁紅豆湯、養生穀粉、甜品粥中。亦可搭配蓮子、百合、紅棗製作藥膳,具有健脾養顏之效。其味甘潤、口感鬆糯,是兼具藥用與食療價值的穀類食材。
