甜玉米(學名 Zea mays var. saccharata),別稱菜玉米、糖玉米、水果玉米,為禾本科 (Poaceae) 一年生草本植物,是玉米的甜型變種。其穀粒含糖量高,質地柔軟多汁,成熟後仍保持甜味,與飼料玉米、糯玉米同屬但用途不同。臺灣中部與南部地區廣泛種植,常見品種有黃粒甜玉米、白粒甜玉米、雙色甜玉米等。

性味歸經:性平,味甘,入脾、胃、膀胱經。具健脾益氣、和中開胃、利尿消腫之功。《本草綱目拾遺》記載玉米「和五臟、調中氣」,有助消化與補益元氣。

功效方面,甜玉米富含碳水化合物、膳食纖維、維生素B群與鎂、鋅、葉黃素等營養素,可促進腸道蠕動、保護視力並維持能量代謝。

應用上,甜玉米可蒸、煮、烤、炒、入湯,亦常作為沙拉、玉米濃湯、玉米餅或甜品原料。其口感香甜柔軟,深受各年齡層喜愛,是兼具主食與蔬食價值的食材。
