白糖,又稱白砂糖、精製砂糖,是以甘蔗或甜菜為原料,經榨汁、濾清、結晶與脫色精煉製成的結晶糖。其外觀潔白細緻,味道純甜無雜味,溶解性佳,是日常生活中最常見的甜味劑。依顆粒大小與用途不同,常見種類有細砂糖、粗砂糖、雪花糖、糖粉等,廣泛應用於飲料、烘焙、醃製與調味。

中醫理論認為,白糖性平,味甘,歸脾、肺經。其功效為補中益氣、潤肺生津、和中緩急、解毒潤燥。甘能補益中氣,入脾可健脾和胃、增進食慾;入肺可潤燥止咳、生津止渴。常用於治口乾咽燥、氣虛乏力、脾胃不和、咳嗽痰少等症。白糖較冰糖性質略燥,適合短期補益或烹飪應用。

在飲食與藥膳中,白糖常用於甜湯、糕點、飲品、藥引等。可與生薑煎煮成薑糖水以祛寒活血,或入粥湯調味潤喉。亦能緩和中藥苦味、調和藥性,使方劑入口平順。白糖性質純淨、用途廣泛,是食療與日常調味中不可或缺的基礎糖品。
