白菊花,學名 Chrysanthemum morifolium Ramat.,又稱杭菊、甘菊、壽菊、貢菊,為菊科多年生草本植物的乾燥花朵。依產地與花色可分為杭白菊、亳菊、貢菊、滁菊等,其中杭白菊最為常見,花瓣潔白、香氣清雅,為藥食兩用花材。

白菊花性微寒,味甘、苦,歸肺、肝經。具有疏風清熱、平肝明目、清心解毒之功效。常用於風熱感冒、頭暈目赤、咽喉腫痛等症,尤以清肝明目、去熱除煩見長。

應用方面,白菊花多以泡茶、煎湯、入膳形式使用,可搭配枸杞、決明子沖泡成保健飲品,用於清肝養眼、潤喉解熱。亦常入藥膳,如菊花粥、菊花雞湯,兼具食療與養生效果。外用可清熱消腫、潤膚除痘。白菊花香氣淡雅,亦常作為花茶、香包與保健品的原料,在中醫藥與日常養生中應用廣泛。
